Hi, I’m HouseBlend Aspie, the mind behind HouseBlend Running Company.

If you’re wondering who’s actually behind the keyboard, it’s Jesse Mitchell: certified distance running coach, Boston-qualifying marathoner, and someone who believes logic and science still have a place in the fitness world, even if the algorithm prefers clickbait.

This site exists because the endurance world is saturated with hype, half-truths, and training advice that sounds suspiciously like recycled Instagram captions. My goal is simple: provide serious, evidence-based guidance for runners who think clearly, train smart, and aren’t afraid to question the latest miracle supplement or buzzword-heavy fad.

Sometimes that takes the form of practical coaching advice. Sometimes it’s detailed breakdowns of training principles or nutrition science. And occasionally, it’s satire… the kind that looks suspiciously like a product launch until the biochemical math gives it away.
